Mercedes Morán is one of the leading actresses in Argentina, Mercedes Morán worked previously with Lucrecia Martel in her first feature film, LA CIENAGA (THE SWAMP). Her extensive work on stage includes “Humores que Matan”, a double bill by David Mamet and Woody Allen, for which she won an ACE award for best comedic actress, as well as “Broken Glass” by Arthur Miller and Eve Hensler’s “The Vagina Monologues”. She has participated in many television series, demonstrating her great versatility, as was proven by her two Martin Fierro awards on consecutive years, one for drama and one for comedy. In film she has worked with, among others, Antonio Larreta (NUNCA ESTUVE EN VIENA, 1989), Carlos Saura (EL SUR, 1991), Betty Kaplan (OF LOVE AND SHADOWS, 1991) and Juan José Campanella (LUNA DE AVELLANEDA, 2003). Mercedes is also featured here, at the Cannes Film Festival, in Walter Salles’ MOTORCYCLE DIARIES.

Carlos Belloso was member of the comedic duo Los Melli, with whom he developed 8 stage performances between 1986 and 1995, he has also worked in theater with highly reputed directors such as Gabriela Izcovich and Lluis Pascual. Most recently he has performed in plays such as Hanif Kureishi’s “Intimacy”, which he also presented in Barcelona in 2002, and in the one-man shows “Dr. Peuser” and “Dr. Campsa”. He has also worked in several television series and miniseries. On film he has appeared in Lucho Bender’s “FELICIDADES”(1997) and is currently preparing “PELIGROSA OBSESIÓN”, directed by Raúl Rodriguez.
